So I realize that I haven’t really used this blog for what I should.
I should be using it to send out wedding and reception tips using my almost 30 years of doing this as a background.
Well, with a little help from my favorite show on television right now, Mike & Molly, I’ve been inspired to begin taking this blog a little more serious.
At the end of last season, Mike asked Molly to marry him. And it was nothing big and spectacular…no message on the scoreboard at Lambeau Field or Miller Park…no crazy fake stunts like falling off a building (c’mon, you’ve seen that on You Tube right?)…it was simple, meaningful and very sweet when it was done in front of Molly’s students in her classroom.
Now the fun begins…planning the ceremony and reception! And of course, everyone wants to get into the act!
Should you refuse the help? No. Should you follow your instincts and try and have a great celebration for you, your families and your friends? You bet!
